Message from our CEO

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

At National Waqf, one of the guiding principles that underpins our work is serving the creation of Allah ﷻ with sincerity and excellence.

We strive to keep the following teaching of the Messenger ﷺ at the heart of everything we do:

“Allah is in the aid of His servant as long as the servant is in the aid of his brother.” (ḥadīth, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, 2699).

This ḥadīth reminds us that true success lies in service. When we help others, we are helped by the One whose support matters most.

Through National Waqf, we aim to support organisations across the UK who are dedicated to helping others. Our mission is to be a backbone for their efforts, so they can serve with strength and sustainability.

JazakAllah khair for joining us in this mission. Your trust and generosity enable us to turn that service into a lasting legacy through waqf.

[Mawlana] Aadil Patel | CEO National Waqf

Alhamdulillāh, this past month saw several events in which National Waqf was actively involved. We held a fundraising collection at a masjid in Plaistow, London and took part in the Muslim Tech Fest. Additionally, a BBQ fundraiser & Sisters’ Souq was organised by members of the community, with proceeds generously donated to National Waqf.

Investment Snapshot

Alhamdulillāh, last month we acquired our fourth income-generating property, located in a highly sought-after area of Ilford. This asset is expected to yield a monthly rental income of approximately £2,850.

With this addition, our current public waqf portfolio now stands at a net asset value of approximately £1.5 million.
